Producer’s Description

This website disseminates new knowledge in the various branches of Sri Lanka Archaeology and creates a discussion on the Country’s Archaeology by publicizing valuable archeological information from Sri Lanka at a national and international level. It was launched almost three years ago by the archaeology.lk team, bringing articles and information from archaeological and historical studies on the Country’s long and rich history. The Sinhala articles cover a range of subjects such as marine-archaeology, zoo-archaeology and geo-archaeology. The visually rich content will appeal to students studying Sri Lanka’s heritage while it also has tourist potential.
